I haven't seen this happen yet. I've been using OpFor weapons every chance I get and my honor only rises.

I don't beleive that's quite right. As I understand it when u use a gun that is not the one you started with your aim will be more off. Nothing about honor going down for using it though.

From 1.4.0 User.ini

"iNewsID=10 sNewsLine1=Happy Holidays! sNewsLine2=Did you know that your combat effectiveness decreases sNewsLine3=when you use someone elses weapon? It does! sNewsLine4=Pass the game along to your friends! It is NOT copy protected."

This doesnt mean honor drops when you use someone elses weapon, it means accuracy and things like that decrease.

Actually I haven't really had much problems with accuracy changes when I use an AK. I can still make successful kills from extremely long distances on mountain pass. But then, I did create and thourogly test my OpFor weapons training mods, so I probably know how :D My favorite trick is picking up an RPK and setting it to single fire mode. Then I go prone/supported and "snipe" enemies. Yes, you don't need a scope to snipe if you're good enough a shot, it just takes several bullets. But hey, with a 100 round mag, shouldn't have much trouble there.

The RPK is awesome for that feature alone!! The ability to use a fully automatic weapon with a 100 round clip is SWEET!! There are some situations where you dont want to have a fully automatic SAW just because you have alot of friendlies around and cant open up and thats why the RPK is SWEET!! yes.. your accuracy will go down when you pick up opfor weapons... But I dont know, but I would speculate that the OPFOR weapons are a little bit more true to the aiming reticle then the USARMY weapons. This is just a guess. Also something to ponder.. Did the army make the OPFOR weapons better than the USARMY weapons on purpose??? And if they made them close to as accurate as the real weapons.... then why arnt they using the OPFOR weapons in real life?? Just something I have been curious about.
