On Mersa Matruh, near Matruh East, I wanted to sneak up on infantry behind the rocks, and then I had to jump over this passage which is showed in the screenshot.

Is it another "close statics" thing, or is the collision wrong, or...?

There is an invisible wall there to prevent players from sneaking through the out-of-bounds towards East Matruh.

Eehm, but this part is NOT out-of-bounds, I should be able to walk there, instead of jump, right?

To clarify: the crosshair in the screenshot is at the location where I had to jump.

Slayer1976 sometimes a player isnt allowed to walk on places, that are not in the out of bonds... simply because the mapper dont want players there...

usually some sort of obstacles is present, but not always.

Hm. Could use another wall there then, you can easily sprint around those rocks without damage.

That static with that "wall" is on Bardia near City Hospital, and it has no "border line" function simply because you can reach it from every direction... but you can't walk through it.

Its a BF2 static. So blame DICE.

Yea, I think Lightning is talking nonsense here! :p

There is no invisible wall around East Matruh; you can easily go through the out-of-bounds area and the rocks to the flagzone.

Like Flippy said, that is probably a problem with the rock statics since they are BF2 statics and cannot have their collisions changed.
