I am real close to seting up a public server, the problem is, the last two numbers of my ip address change everyday, when I go online; yesterday it was .22, today it is .45 . My yesterday's ip number is "authorized", but of course, can't be used. Where can I learn about a setting up a public server for changing ip numbers?

Also,,,,,, in setting up the HAOM program, what is this "miles" thing ? I think there are three settings, Force none, Force normal, Force miles, what is the best setting ?

And should the allow "Game Spy" box be checked ?

Re: your ip changes.... It's called static ip and it's from your internet service provider. I have dsl and mine does it also, it's partly for security and partly so you can't do what you want. It makes it impossible to make your computer a server. My isp has dedicated ip's but they only come with their buisness package along with more speed and another $30.00 a month from my pocket. I'm pretty sure that's what the problem is anyhow.

actually it's called DYNAMIC if it changes; Static if it stays the same. Just in case your calling your isp.
