Okay, a half a foot tall brick wall is sticking out of the ground... I decide to run and pass over. But no, I have to jump and get stuck and in the time it takes to get over that tiny little wall I'm already dead.

Can this be addressed in the next patch please :)

Thanks for trying to improve the overall FH experience, but could you be more specific? What wall are you talking about? Where exactly and on what map is it located? What about posting a screenshot of the wall you are talking about so we can have a look at it straight away.

Well, similar in respects, but practically any rubble is impossible to go over without jumping or strategic foot work :P (And btw theres a floating rock on Sidi Rez. Between the Hanger and bunker flag, by one of the shell craters, hard to miss xD And the ground goes through a few spots in the buildings on Aberdeen :P)

Go onto FH2, run around in single player just running over rubble. Don't jump. Just try and run over it that looks like it's a few inches sticking out the ground, it acts like a three foot barrier...

that invissible wall is an BF2 EA/DICE static (one of the few some devs use) the invissible wall is not made by FH2 devs but by EA/DICE so go there and complain about it ;)

the box you can get over, well bardia is still very beta, it was added very late before the release and wasnt tested that much (see pit of death ...)

however the thing with the gravel or small objects you cant walk over and have to jump, thats a different story some devs actually like it. i dont but thats the way it is. and also if you re able to walk trough this stuff it would look very strange. However addin to every static that is stuck into the ground the ability to truely walk over it every static would have to be reworked for this and add a ramp so you can go over it, but as soon as you place the static in another way you have to rework it again and add the ramp in another way so you can go over. (afaik, thats what it is i'm no modeler but thats what i pic up on TS and internal forums) so either do a little jump to get over the small box or wait another 2 year for next release ...

You have to jump to get up simple curbs as well.

same goes for gas cans, any kind of wall or rubble, the artillery feet, and so on. I think it's more a general collision issue, you also easily get stuck between the chairs in that one bunker flag.

Personally I find the jumping over the smallest rubble bit annoying as hell, not only because there's a jump limit, but also because I don't see anybody jump over anything that's knee height in real life, you just walk over it, or run. What they did here is pretty much over realism (or pushing the "realism" further than it really is, combined the bulkiness of the game you get one annoying gameplay), you might as well jump over each and every step of stairs.

You also get easily stuck when jumping in the middle of a random pile of rubble :uhm:
