This was a simple annoyance, now it's a downright regular interruption..
I either get dropped from a map server with the "LOADING" screen and have to reconnect...
or this crash window kicks me out of the game entirely...

I read the post about that gfx card and did what it said.. NO CHANGE...
This only has occurred with 1.6
I was really lovin this game with 1.5... I didn't take the patch cause I always say "If it is working fine then WHY PATCH" but of course you FORCE IT DOWN OUR THROATS by eliminating eligibility of connecting w 1.5
(When I remained 1.5 the list of server shrank to nil. I would choose a map and about 3-5 servers would be listed, I assumed it was a patch thing so I patched to 1.6 and voila, there were 1,000s of servers again!)
All I really want to know is, why as you increase in revision does the stability DECREASE?
Is this your way of combating overpopulated networks? Simply keep booting people and that will cut down on bandwidth demand?
That's kind of an AOL solution, no?
I have the same gfx card, no problems here!
As the finishing touch, GOD created the Dutch
What patch are you running? if 1.6 did u download full version or buy the $2.00 patch or get the free one at Gigex??
Anyhow I have a GeForce3 Ti500 Deluxe now. It was sent to warranty for repair and the GF2 MX400 was a loaner.
It's not crashing to windows with that GPF yet, so I think that problem is gone, BUT I am getting dropped quite frequently.
It can only be MY ISP or THEIR servers. I highly doubt that it's my system because it was all working FINE before 1.6.
Also, my ISP and I have a special contract because it's a home office so they do not do anything to restrict my bandwidth and I have 2 dedicated drops to my house for the modem only.
I have tested my bandwidth and throughput and they are fine. Other online games such as RTCW do not drop me.
So I can only conclude that it is on their end.
A LOT of people with many different graphics cards are having the "LOADING" booted to menu problem. I know I am not alone there.
I think my new card has solved the GPF problem though...
Not to mention, my framerate went from 7-10fps to 80-90fps!!!
there appears to be a server problem as there is a lot of dropped connection and failure to authorize going around.
I have the same problem, playing for about 20 minutes then i get a load screen and then i have to reconnect. if you find out the problem please post it, thanks.
until this happen i been playing army since july when it 1st came out and never had problem like this.
