What kinda operating systems do you guys run? Linux? Windows? Solaris? MacOS? BeOS? Unix? MS-DOS? Please, tell me. I'm interested. Plus, it's multiple choice.....

I run Mandrake Linux 9.1, MS-DOS, Linux, Windows Xp, and when my computer crashes, I only have my BIOS (LOL).....

Windows XP. Next time i buy a computer though I will probably either get a MAC or Linux system.

I checked Win9x, except it's more like WinME but you don't have that up there.

If you had a choice between Linux or Mac, why the hell would you go Mac?:eek:

XP is good, but if u have 256mb of ram or less i would not recomend it

I run Windows NT 5.0 (also known as Windows 2000), UNIX (currently with the Cygwin emulator) and Linux (Debian, SuSE, Red Hat). As a consequence of running a Windows OS I actually run MS-DOS (Windows is just a shell for hacked DOS versions).

KAH PS. What do you mean by "DOS (Generic)"?

xp pro for me, i am very happy with it. it's easy to find drivers and seems to use my ram well. it's also much more stable than previous versions for gaming...

My friend has XP Pro and it is indeed very nice. Very stable and all. Had quite a few problems with gaming early on but those have been worked out in patches with the game and various system drivers. I would get XP but I only have 512 MB SDRAM, the slow ass RAM, and a P933 mHz
