Can't remember which map this was but I was in a M3 Stuart when I started firing at these passing tanks. One of the PzIIIj turns and shoots me, about a second later another shot and then another.

Now this was way too fast to be a reload or an ammo switch.

Anybody else had this problem before because it's happened to me several times.

Ya I tested it and it happens totally random (atleast thats waht I think) and it just fires multiple times on its own it also happens (rarely) with crusader III

We're not sure what causes this, but it's only a graphical bug. The tank doesn't actually fire multiple rounds, it just looks like it does.

Yeah, but it's weird, because you can't rely on what you have seen. So you can't estimate the time for the next shot. :(

It happened to me several times randomly.

Lightening, I disagree. It's hit me before in a valentine and first shot did nothing, second shot took me down 3 quarters and third killed me.

Though I may just be he got a 1 hit kill on me in the valentine against front armour but I dunno

 There isn't much to disagree. =p

We tested it, it's just a visual error. One person would see a rapidly firing gun (tank) but the actual person in that vehicle experienced normal load times and the actual shells that impacted were correct (matching the rounds the tanker fired).

So it's just a visual bug.

Unless there is a second, yet undiscovered rapid firing bug (which I doubt).

Perhaps there was a second shooter on the grassy knoll? :-P

It should be pretty easy to find this one, then. I mean, how many grassy...anythings, are in the Sahara?
