Hi, long time no hear right? Let's get right to it.

1. In Detention, when you walk up to the cars in that parking lot area, and you put them on the side of your screen, they disappear. Nothing to serious.

2. When I was using Nightvision with the android, a couple of things happened. A) radar disappeared, I don't know if that was on purpose or what B) it didn't work too well in the dark, I could see people and objects really well but I couldn't see the walls or anything, it doesn't help too much when you're trying to find your way out of a hole C) when I would fire whether it be the Phalanx or any of the weapons, it would explode and a block shape would appear... D) some of the lights would also have the same block shape as when firing the weapons

3. Last but not least, I was an android and I was firing at my portal, and I figured out that I was missing. If I aimed for the near top of the portal, it would show a spark or something, but it would keep going right through, and the portal would go undamaged. I tried this with all 3 of the android weapons and all came with the same result. The ammo would go right through the top of the portal and the portal would go undamaged (and no I wasn't missing the portal smile.gif). Hope this helps, it's a great game I love it.

The radar is supposed to disappear.

All the other bugs sound like a 1.2.3 issue. Make sure you have the newest build.

ok umm.... 2 things obviously.

First... its NV... it doesn't work in COMPLETE Darkness... you need SOME LIGHT for NV to work. Seeing that I don't know why it would work in complete darkness... Thats just my thoughts at least. Your call as always Hap.

Second. um I quoted your number three for a reason. You said that you shot YOUR portal.. and it wasn't dmg'd. Well um.. of FF was OFF, then no matter what you do you won't dmg it. So first you need to state if it was on or not. Seceond, please make sure to state something like that the first time. Its an important key to the puzzle.

(I mean no offence at all, I'm sorry if I did)

Sorry, to be honest I didn't know that FF mattered when it came to damaging your own portal. But yes, FF was on and I had damaged it just a few seconds earlier until I figured out what the bug was. And yes Hap, I have dl'ed the latest version of Purge 1.2.4 I think it was? The one with the 4 on the end. Just dl'ed it today. Anyways may be my comp. Hope this helps.

Also as far as the NV goes, if you really wanted to get technical, you wouldn't be seeing the bodies (like in Detention, the bodies on the floor are all bright and shiny but the walls are completely black). The purpose of NV is to see in the night. It's not specifically to find a body or a shining light, it's to see in the dark. I.E. for hunting. You wouldn't just go around wandering at night hoping to find a deer but not being able to see the trees, now would you? Anyways that's an example coming from a hunter. Also, someone I know owns a pair of NV goggles (yes the real military kind, not the fake kiddy ones hehe). Anyways that's just to get technical, it's only a game so you can design it either way, it's not my call, just my job to give ya my opinion. Hope this helps.

Someone find the screenshot/description I made (in the General forum) that explains the difference between NIGHTvision and EXTRAvision!

Extravision works better in darkness but has a huge washout effect with even moderate light. Nightvision needs some light to work but has very little washout, so you can just keep it running during daylight if you want.

I run NV during daylight sometimes to spot movement (especially on Canopy). XV is harder to use that way so I tend to toggle that back and forth alot more.
