I was just wondering if the mortar that the Jap. rifle men carry is suppose to kill you sometimes. I was playing around with it on midway and all of a sudden I just died. I tried it a few more times and the same thing. It seems random when it happens so I have no clue.

Are you sure you werent A) shot. B) moving, looking down, or both then clicking (nade blows up at feet). C) in a situation where the nade could hit something close to you and blowing yourself up. Other than that, then I dont know.

Did you use the secondary fire button? That'll do it every time.

Yeah, don't move when you shoot it. It has a habit of flying directly downwards and blowing up your kazoolies if you don't steady your rifle beforehand. I had that problem a lot too.

If you "right click", it will shoot it about 2m, then blow you up. Also you are suppose to crouch, or if you wanna get technical, kneel, when you us this weapon. Being prone when you fire, will kill you for sure. And standing up takes forever for the crosshairs to fully close, and accuracy will still be bad. Also, if the crosshairs arent fairly close to being closed, or fully closed, when you fire. It can shoot wild and again kill you. So make sure the crosshairs are closed before firing, and kneeling makes them close the fastest. And dont right click. :p

You can use your right mouse button to set up how far you want to shoot or throw your grenade ( when using grenades ).

If you quickly press the right mouse button the mortar will only fire 1 ~ 2 feet away.

If you want to fire further, you're going to have to press the right mouse button longer or just tap the left mouse button once, but only after you crouch down as Badseed mentioned.

this happens to me all the time, i know exactly what he is talking about. for some reason, the knee mortar randomly kills you for no reason, or at least it does to me. thats why i never use it.

Christian von Schalburgkazoolies :)

Hey. Kazoolies is a technical term. For...uh...something...I'm not sure what, but it's a technical term.

Anyway, this weapon works great if you use it right. It doesn't take out tanks, but it still works great.
