I was thinking about it, and I fully agree that there are problems with the whole rank structure. We should be able to get rank higher than currently avalible. And, with that rank should come more ability. Here as some ideas I've had: 1) You get points toward rank for kills and more so, for objectives accomplished.

2) You loose what ever rank you have when you die. This would put more of a focus to staying alive as opposed to killing the emeny. The whole survival aspect is lost from combat when you simply respawn at the next round. If there is something to loose, then maybe people will consentrate more on living than killing.

3) After a certian point, higher ranking players should have the option to kick other players. This will, I would hope, enforce a point of following orders. Those in command would be leading and giving orders, if they aren't followed, then that player can be kicked.

I think that these are points that could improve some of the realism to the game play. Obviously you wouldn't be getting massivly higher rank, you wouldn't see a general in the field in modern war. But it would enforce some of the ideas behind the game play and make things, to an extent, more realistic.

This would also warrent the use of medics. A medic would be able to save a soldier from *Dying* They would not get them back into combat, but they would keep them alive and thus not loose rank. Demotions for friendly fire would be a biggy too

Thats a good idea...ive been all for a new ranking system..it sure would make the game more fun to play
