Dread thinks I'm a special person
17th December 2002
I discovered that since the day the honor system came out, tons and tons of people are getting into hacking. Its not just about owning or anything, its about getting higher honor points.
numbers of people hacking why they hack 1/2 Honor points 1/3 Its too hard for them 1/4 To counter another hacker 1/4 Hate the game 1/5 So noobs can compliment the hacker
P.S. I really hate the honor system, hated when it just came out. People started camping, not doing anything, not helping teammate, afraid of dying etc. Especially hacking.
I've found in my experience that there are no real problems with the honor system when everybody plays fair, and most everyone plays fair. The so-called hacking is much less prevelant then is let on. I only cared about honor long enough to gain access to the advanced servers, other then that I DON'T CARE. Amazing to think I've been playing since July and still only have an honor of 20. I've found it's much more exhilarating and fun to play clean and occasionally have a little "accident" (i.e. lose 300 points for ROE) then hoard honor. Most players agree, and so I don't really care if some loser decides that his way to feel like a man is to take advantage of a system's limitations. If I think there's a guy truly cheating (i.e. killing the entire OpFor with one headshot each) I confer with my fellow players, and if I feel its necessary I initiate a votekick. Otherwise, I just leave, so that he has no one left to boast about his 1337ness to.
you know whats worse than hacking? people always complaining about hacking! christ....whining about it aint gonna make it stop so just shut up!
ive seen about 1 hacker and i play frequently wel there may have been others but at least hte madins will be on there case
I am sure that I have seen hackers online.. but I have never really noticed them. Personally I dont care about hackers and in the end... if you have to cheat to win at a game... then your not worth talking about.
