in the RunServer INI it says: server.exe lan MOUT_MCKENNA.aao log=server.log ini=server.ini now all you do is right click on RunServer>click Edit>then change that map name to the map you want to play IE: INSURGENT_CAMP.aao then double click RunServer when you are done and walaa!

hope that helps. ~George

There aint no runserver.ini there is only server.ini and the line ''server.exe lan MOUT_MCKENNA.aao log=server.log ini=server.ini'' does not stand there.. :uhoh: C U;) Zuper-Anga:cheers:

The runserver.bat is what you need to edit. Right click on it and choose edit. It should use notepad or word to edit it. The format is:

server.exe [lan/global] [mapname] log=[logfile] ini=[serverini file]

If you want to run a LAN game where nobody can get to your game without you giving the IP, choose LAN. The mapname you can get from the Americas Army Map directory (next to the system directory, c:\program files\Americas Army\maps\ by default installation). You should recognize the map names for which one is your favorite. The log part if you leave out, you wont have a log file generated by your server. If you fill it out, it can be any name as long as the extension is .log. The INI file is usually a copy of the server.ini file that existed by default. There are some settings you want to change in it. There are a few programs out there like HAOM by {RIP}Hydra. He has done an excellent job and provides a interface to change all the settings to your preference. I suggest it as you just point and click your way to starting your server.

Hope this helps you and anyone happening along to the thread.
