I found this very serious bug while playing Sidi Rezegh. As you can see it is very detrimental to gameplay, and it really hurts my eyes when I'm within view of it.

Spoiler: Show

It flickers like a strobe light when you move past it. =p

Also, I randomly experience massive bouts of lag when I look towards the airfield, even when far away. Is this just my poor nVidia 7 series weeping in agony as it overheats due to the extreme level of detail?

Hmm...I dont see problems with the toolboxes on other parts of the level ;).

I'm stuck with that crappy AGP socket card for now. I'll just have to get used to talking a break from intensive areas like the airfield every once in awhile and drive up a tank from the main base, which usually lets the card cool a bit.

I don't however, lag when in the basement, as many irrate players will confirm :).

This bug went to the #1 spot on the list of irrelevant "bugs"

(misplaced statics aren't bugs btw....)

It's a bug IMO.Minor but also not hard to correct (move the toolbox 1 cm up and it should no llonger be insode the tanle and stop flickering). The table (planks actually) also seem to lack collision (atleast in the latest internal version). The mapper might turn this one down though (though IMO it's a quick and easy fix so...).

I'll report this to the bug reporter as bug 866.
