Basically dont bother being a sniper in real life its a extreme tool that kicks ass but in the game they have handicapped it so it basically is the worst thing to be, saying that if your playing bridge jusy lie down just outside of the tower doors (1st floor) and snipe away, really hard for you to get killed from long range and loads of easy kills for you

i play bridge mostly and am getting better at sniping (when i get it, but enough whining about that ;) )

when on D, you can snipe from the stairs or the tower, but i think those places are expected too much and they receive a bunch of SAW fire. i go up by the car/truck and pick off people at the other car. one thing to remember when on D (anytime). dont get too caught up in moving up the road, youre in better position in the tower or on the stairs (just watch out on the boxes) be sure to keep your troops informed of where e are, especially if you shoot and miss. i also like to shoot from one spot, then move so that OPFOR cant just say, "SAW him from our tower" or whatever. hope that helps

on A, i like to get to the car quick. doing so may be hazardous to your health tho. i snipe from there, and when my team has some (like f rt and f left) control of the arch and an idea of where the e sniper is, then i move up, pop a smoke, and look to see if there are any stair-masters. when im done there, i work my way up the left side. BE SURE TO GET RID OF THE OTHER SNIPER ASAP! also watch where he died to make sure you can shoot anyone that tries to steal his rifle. take out any e in their tower. all this time, try to tell people to cover the left, so noone caps you while you are looking through your scope. also tell them when the stairs are clear or car is clear, or the tower is clear of e. on the left, look at the D hill, to make suure noone is laying there to ambush you. then the rest is up to you, just keep your wits about you and you should do fine.

sorry, i shoulda wrote a book, it woulda been shorter and contain less punctuation and spelling errors:D

hope all this helps you tho

just play, youll get better. one thing thats golden, is target aquisition. make sure you see the target and get a shot off (and accurately) ASAP. sometimes rushed shots are better, others...not so good

Well personnally my opinion is that the 203 is the best weapon to have on bridge, you can use it in close qaurters and long range, its ideal for taking out the snipers, just be sure you dont miss the first shot with the 203 or they know where you are.

You want to know about sniping but you don't want to camp. Well this is the wrong game for you bud. This aint an action shooter where you can run-n-gun with a sniper rifle. This is AA, you HAVE TO plant your ass somewhere. After all this is a simulation and real snipers are not constantly on the move during a battle. They find a good spot that conceals them while giving them a large view and vantage point. Plus with the added scope movement of a couple patches or so ago, doing anything but laying down with the bi-pod extended won't get you any kills. For the Bridge map, you're pretty much screwed. By now almost everyone has the map memorized so they just fire away into exact points in the distance fog and get easy kills. The M203 users that do this are really nasty. If defense, just hang back in the opening bit. And by back, I mean behind the archway and off the steps. After a little bit move to a temporary safe postion. If the offense likes to charge every time, then you should get into your permanent postion quick. If the game plays out long, then you can take plenty of time to find a spot that works for that round.

ALWAYS snipe in different spots. If your enemy is clever and notices you in different spots. Just keep it random: spot 1, spot 2, spot 3, spot 1, spot 1, spot 6, spot 1, spot4, spot3. Like that. And please for the love of gaming, if you know you suck at sniping, DO NOT use a spot in line. Give others the chance to use it.
