What's up. I have recently played Soul Calibur II. My friend bought it. I didn't really like fighting games too much because some of them you could just button mash and win against someone who's played for a while, some of them were just stupid and boring, while some games like Dead or Alive 3 has good graphics, I was at a friends house(he owns the game and plays it) and myself and other guys were beating these guys who were good just b/c we could button mash really fast and win. The reason I like SC II is because if someone button mashes and you know how to play, you can easily whomp them. I think it is the best fighter...period.

yeah i know about them button mashers - thats generally how everyone won when they were 8-13 yrs old ;) after that PLAYING the game became inportant.

I think my favorite part of fighting games is the combos - anything extra spectacular?

but i've never played game cube before, how does it handle? better than xbox i hope...

I have played all of the systems, but I don't have all of them. In my opinion the Gamcube handles the best. Nintendo does an incredible job with the controllers. Soul Calibur II's controls are really good, very well done.

Yeah, I own the Gamecube version of this game. I say GC has the best exclusive character. Heihachi (whit haired dude from Tekken) is just a drunk whose name is hard to spell, and Spawn (on X-Box) was never really well known, so that makes Link the best.

I agree about that the GC is the best version. No one wants the the tekken guy, that what tekken is for, give them Cloud or something.
