I think the game should have "Green Beret" training. Rangers are cool but lets have some Special Forces diversity. Plus I think it would cool for some artillary stuff to be added. Like Tank School, and other big guns and stuff. After all tanks do engage the enemy! Don't mind telling me if I'm all messed up about the Tank School.

I dont think that tanks should be included. Tanks are usually ment for anti-mechanized units, which I think would detract from the game using a tank against infantry. Its bad enough that there is the M-82, which fires a 50 cal, round according to the drill instructor. But who in there right mind would use that powerfull of a weapon against another human?? Could you imagine the power of being able to rip another human being in half.

Psst! The SAW is a .50 caliber weapon being used against infantry/personnel.

The SAW is not a .50 cal weapon it 5.56mm same as the M16. Other than than you might see a GPMG like the M60 (not in this game) which is 7.62mm far smaller than .50 cal. The only .50 cal automatic weapons you'll see are either vehicle mounted or in a fixed position. They are too heavy and unweildy for fireteam use or by individual infantry in other than a fixed position or form a vehicle mount.

Ok Army nerds, enough!

j/k :D

As for the Green Berets training, I don't think the AA devs want to include anything as specific as the Green Berets in this game. This is pretty much what you would do "First" in the army.

well about the tanks and special forces issue..from what i hear that will be in AA:Soldiers..the other game they are making.i cant find specifics on it anywhere.but there will be artillery and all that.apparently you will form a career with a online soldier and play the role you chose in a game.whether your giving fire support for the infantry or being heavy tank support.they havent wrote many articles on this game but ive seen pics in the AA hq site.i also beleive there will be choppers too but not sure till they give more info.Oh and about the special forces they dont do as much as rangers now a days all they do is train other countries to fight.and they hunt down people too.the seals and rangers have taken up most of what the Spec ops use to do.

PS:still wondering where the heck the 240 bravo or m60 is.infantry without a m60 is strange.and dont say that the saw has replaced it cause nothing can replace it.

I do think this game is pretty fun (with the exception of those damn nade happy fools) and is fairly accurate from what I have heard. I think that maverickrot is pretty sick in wanting to cut someone in half with the M-82 though. I think your right about the Green Berets not being in the game is right on. I dont think they should be in there. I am happy enough being a Ranger.

What they need to do (don't know if it can, need to run some tests) is allow the m82 to punch through fortifications, wall, sandbags, cars... that is what it is used for! A mission that would be nice to see would be to have an ambush where a small convoy, maybe some HMMWVs rolling through, that the 50cal sniper has to in-op then a fireteam assualts the convoy
