Ok either the DEVS of AA of the various people have added spyware of some sort to AA or to the installers. Why do I say this take a look:

Something on my system is sending information to a certain IP before I do a damn thing....ie I just login and out goes the info....

Funny thing is it mostly shows the Americas Army files......heres an excerpt

RSP/1.0 CLI_CN_LOGIN User:041c8e1f7aed4e0886c889de3ef2573a DownloadCustomerId:106 ClientType:browser ClientVersion:0.999 ClientBuildNumber:3637 OSType:WinXP OSVersion:5.1 (2600) ConnectionType:Unknown ConnectionSpeed:99882233 Ip:192.168.0.101 ListenerPort:9420 ProxyPort:9421 UpBandwidth:99882233 DownBandwidth:67314 GatewayIp:Unknown GatewayMac:Unknown CpuType:GenuineIntel - x86 Family 15 Model 1 Stepping 2 CpuSpeed:1893 DiskSize:8454 DiskFree:1214 TimeZone:300 { }

Obviously its ZONE ALARM TIME....

All this info went to 64.41.169.140....

Im going to block it out from my firewall and not allow internal broadcasts to be seen by it any longer.... ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS....heck this is but one of many very LARGE 100K bursts I have noticed since last night.... I will post more details as they become available....

The files I used to scan my tcp/udp data are ethereal and wincap 3..... It seems to work ok....Im putting both of them on the FTP under a directory called SpyCatcher....

So whats up with this.I hope that its somthing else and not AA or the people who host files.:mad:

The IP address appears to be related to Cable & Wireless so are they your phone/cable company or have you installed something of theirs.

The actually info appears to be do with filefront so ..... maybe someone with more knowledge will know more

Its unlikely AA would spy on people cause that would just stop people from playing the game! They want american people to play so they see how good the army is and join up (cynical I know). Then 3 yrs later you are in a hostile climate being shot at and when you get hit it actually hurts!

Just an idea... I suck at networking but, did you install Red Swoosh? The program that lets you use the FileFront Peer-to-peer network? It might be that but I'm not sure. :uhm:

yes i did downloaded red swoosh. Red swoosh is a small program that you need to download file from aafiles. I dont think red swoosh is the problem. it might be that you opened aafiles whiel playing americasa army, so zonealarm detected it. Or it might be someoen downloadign file from you. AAfiles is peer to peer right, that mean if you download file from aafiles, you are downlaoding from another person(people). I think someone is downlaoding file from you too. THa'ts my theory but i'm not sure.

Well i for one don't trust the US Government so bet a $100000 that the US Military use AO to spy on people. We have all heard of Magic Lantern and know what the FBI want to spy on everyone everywhere and use anti terrorism as a lame excuse.

What a good way to spy on the war loveing people who play violent games then stick a spy program in a war type game..:fistpunch:

hummm if i was a pshycologist i would digonse most of you with delucional paranioa ..

common people you all worried of uncle sam finmding the kiddie porn hiden in your games folder??

if you have nothing to hide , you have nothing to worry about ,

even if the army was spying on people trust me , they are not after the letter you send your friend about the cheap weed you got last night , they would probably be trying to prevent another spt 11 , plus i have northon firewall and i havent received any notice of anythign comunicating out of my pc , plus the information going out of your computer doesnt seem to be that harmfull anyways , it seems to be of the browser type referral type , and its most of a survey than somehting to find that you like downloading pictures of britney from kazaa , happy newyears !!!
