This is probably a bf2 glitch, but some times when you zoom in, you can see the hills/ground 'morphing' into what they're supposed to look like up close, but at far are different. That being said, it's possible to see infantry behind small hills/holes etc because the ground disappears at a distance, same happens to sand bags and boxes :\ It was to the extent, if I looked it was normal, then when I aimed down sight the ground morphed to what it should be :P
Yeah, it's a BF2 thing.
*nod* Okay :P I thought so
It's the graphics of your game. If you set view distance scale on 100% you wont have this :p
I have the distance set to 100% and I still have this
Ditto :P It's def. the game lol
How about the geometry? Try to put that on high.. Really strange because I don't have this problem :uhm:
Your graphics card may also be one reason for it. When I had 4800SE years ago BF42 never had any terrain warping but with 7600GT it started to occur, especially in desert map. In BF2 7600GT had fewer terrain warping than my newer 7900GTO.
Or maybe its just my memory thats failing me and makes me believe this way. :P
