i dont really understand. is the version from internet the full game??? or is just a beta or a demo? will they have a retail version also? im just a little confused....
the one they have for download is the full game
Thats not quite true, AA:O is more of a work in progress. As time goes on the Army will be adding new levels and abilities into the game. But yes, right now, what you download is the Completed game. No purchase nessicary, cancel at anytime.
if you go on there site you will learn all of this...so here goes no the one for download is not full game the army is sending the full game to all who are registered.the full game is on CD.read there site and you will find out all the cool stuff.oh and the CD is also free so there isnt any retail version.
Unless I am mistaken, that isn't completely true. They are still finishing up the 'add-ons' They would have to be, you can't have a release date pushed back for something unless it isn't done.
That, and I haven't seen any support of the rangers or air-born on-line on the servers yet.
The FAQ at americasarmy.com had this to say
Q: When will the CD arrive, and what will be in it? A: America's Army will be available on CD some time in August. The CD will contain all the schools and missions that have been added between now and then.
So, they will have a CD, it will be free, but it isn't out yet.
oo wait the cd is out you can order the ced from one of the downloading sites, i think it was ign or gamespy but i dont think its the complete game. ritte now some parts of the add-ons are still in beta testing.. the full gaem is out, but the game is being updated lol... 1
hmmmm, i guess theres no point in buying the CD if u get all the patches.
the full game is already out morons
