I feel like a dummy asking but, I drop like a rock and even when flaring, I hit super hard and fail. I try and steer, flare, go forward (using my walking controls) and I still drop straight down and break every bone in my body. Whats the correct way to manipulate the chute so I guide myself down safely? Since there arent any online tips or real training. TIA

Don't flare until ur very close to the ground. Look straight forward, not down.

Yeah it was my fault...sorta. For some reason my "Action" key got unbound. In games I use the middle mouse (Mouse3) to use things but in the training it was unbound. So once I rebound it, the flare works fine. Passed live drop on 2nd try. Thnks for the help.

In the 250 foot tower training mission, if you read very carefully, you will see that it says to "turn your body 90 degrees from the direction of movement". Thats the only thing you people are doing wrong! Look all the way to the left or right bottem of the available viewing area, and flare about .5 seconds before impact. You will come out every time. Remember, look all the way to the left or right bottom corner! (looking down is just so that you can see the ground) Hope that helps!
