I'm not sure what the problem is, but the Tobruk Map in v66 loads about a 1/4 of the way and crashes to the desktop. It worked fine in v.65 I'm going to increase the memory in my machine a bit, but was hoping there might be something I'm missing. Thanks, P. 1/4/05 Update: I removed 66 (and thereby 65) and reinstalled 65. Tobruk loaded fine, so I installed 66 and got the same result. I'm running 512MB of memory 1/7/05 Update: I removed 66 again. I downloaded the upgrade from Fileshack (previously downloaded from Boomtown) and got the same result.
Same issue here.... Athlon XP 2400, 512MB, ATI Radeon 8500 128MB, XP SP1 with all hotfixes. Rage3D Tweak 3.9c
I have that problem too.
Me too mine the bar gets all the way and crashes i think it might be a problem with the new minefields
I can load it just fine in 0.66. Might be a bit far-fetched but have you tried redownloading 0.66 and then install from that one?
Got the same crashes in Tobruk and Zielona Gora. But it only happens when I try to open a coop-match. So I think there went something wrong with the AI like in FH 0.61.

I got the same crashes for a few levels, Tobruk Zielona Gora, Midway, and Battle of Britan. If I play the same levels in multiplayer coop they run fine just not in instant battle or campagin mode. I re downloaded the entire game and it didn't fix it.I'm getting a new Radeon 9600 xt so I'll see if its just a video card problem.

The new video card didn't work. Did we all download our files at the same place I got everything at fileplanet. Do you guys still have fhx installed?
Tobruk crashes to an invisible dialogue box and thence to desktop, SP, but that's the only one so far. I'll try Zielona Gora shortly. Progress bar reaches just to the end of "to" in "Press escape to cancel" text. (P4 2.8c, 1 gig non-DDR [forget speed], much HD space, AIW Radeon 9600 Pro, Audigy.) Late edit: ZG fires just fine. After changing my video settings as noted in (I think) the Eastern Blitz lagginess thread, however, Tobruk loads only to the second "e" in "escape", stops dead, and upon "escape" drop directly to the desktop... neither dialogue box nor mouse-pointer appear. Oh, and EB lags occasionally, but not horribly. (Horribly is reserved for Bombing the Reich, so far.)
