Towed 88, WTF with tanks and sounds? -1 reply

So is there a reason that every time I use the towed 88 I blow myself up? There is still a projectile that hits where you are aiming, but at the same time the shot does damage to me, two shots is the end for that gun. Maybe there is a way to drop the gun? I don't think the solution would be that complicated. Any ideas? Should I just wait for the .65 beta? Second bug catch is the sound upgrade I got. It says that it is compatable for FH (even the .61), but I caught a few sound issues. The IS-2 has no primary cannon sound, the MG class for the Soviets on "Berlin Outskirts" has no sound. There are a few reloading hicups and some minor sound distractions now and then, but I am only thrown by the IS-2 and the MG. Which brings me to my next catch... I love the tanks, the new classes and types, but I am a little confussed as to how the armor dynamics work. Is there a reason that the 88mm on the King Tiger cracks the IS-2 open like a tin can at 200 meters while it takes some scratches from 128mm return fire? The Panther does a helluva lot of damage, but it takes a direct hit from a T-34 85 to it's front armor and goes up like a match in a fire. I can deal damage and take damage in strange quantity at awkward distances and directions in diffirent tanks. It was fun to sit on a hillside in my Tiger picking off T-34s and IS-2 like there was no end, but I would like a little more appropriate dynamics. Oh, and is there a reason that I can't host a Co-Op or Bot compatable map. I mean, when the game crashes loading the "Battle of Britain" map, I get a little confused. Are the AI scripts really that diffirent when placed with the new maps and equipment? Any help (even if you tell me that I'm just going to have to tolerate it) is fine. P.S. It's a great mod, I'm glad that someone finally balled up for realistic war simulation (right uniforms, armor, weapons, flags, and equipment.):bows:

Ok! 1. use the up\down keys to deploy or undeploy the '88, its just like the landing ships 2. Don't know, i have sound problems too but the Is2 is ok for me if i remember. Anyway BF always as sound problems... 3. It all depends on your gun and were you it. Some vehicules have bugs also.. and at short range almost everything except a Tiger or KT is very vulnerable. Also the 122 of the Is2 as less penetration ( :hump: ) power than the 88. As for picked T34s at a distance, the Tiger was made just to do that :) . But i insist that there are still a few armor bugs so dont go ''WTF'' too much if it happens sometimes. 4. Download FHX to play with bots, FH normally do not have bots but this small and usefull mod adds them. Have a good time playing FH!

Good luck with the sound, but download FHX or Ballistik FH to play with bots until FH .65
