The military doesn't... use uzis... uzis suck ..... obviously this isn't a SWAT game so no use for shotguns unless they put in a turkey hunt for the people that are waiting for game to end :).
for all those who want to be a medic, i would like to know why. Think about it. This is a game that is realistic. That means that it follows all the real rules. Be this, i mean that it will follow the geneva convention rules aka
1)medics cannot carry guns.
2)you cannot shoot a medic
3)medics must heal whoever they can, good or bad
so what would you rather do, run around without a gun tring not to get shot to just have a gun and keeping it how it is?
U have a point furdude but this game needs health power-ups u know!!! Even in reality u could carry some panadols or bandages!!! LOL!!! But, yea seriusly that should be added and its a game as well!!! :naughty:
Thanks dude.... That was irritating me too. There's a few other things i think people are wanting that are just totally retarded also but we'll get to that later i have pizza to eat :).
why not give up on the hand guns thing? theyve said over and over, that they wont put them in...
and they are putting medics (AKA combat life savers) into the game. who was it i debated with on the whole medics thing? if you were a medic and your rules applied then bridge would be a cake walk for assault. just send the medic to the tunnel, BAM everyone gets at least 60 points. no, medics carry rifles and work to stop wounds from bleeding, etc. and also remember that a large portion of the world doesnt follow the Geneva Convention...
Thanx 4 info!!! Gonna go buy myself a white uniform!!! :D
Seriously wut kiker said about badages may be a good idea. Here's my new idea you should have a bullet proof vest to stop the bullet going thru your chest but say if it hit your arm you could select badages and patch it up it would take about 15secs it should also have some idoine too because it could affect your shooting or something. Also who says medics can't shoot guns and you can't shoot medics, besides after a certain amount of damage you can't get healed maybe there should be something that you could call to extract you from the battle but about 1-2 mins later you'd be back with full health. If you've played bf1942medics have the same things as everyone else like a gun grenades etc.
P.s. also when I talked about uzis and swat weapons it's just a suggestion you don't have to take it so persanol:rolleyes:
Cough* I thought kevlar was implied when you could take 5 + bullets to the chest before you were taken out of combat in the game. I do believe he just told you who said. Medics are boring in a video game....And you're not going to see hand guns. This game needs to stay as real as possible stop trying to Counter-Strike the f*ck out of it and turn it into a dumb game. Everyone screams realism but they still want crap like some of the stuff mentioned that would make it straight up streamlined. I don't believe they need to since they aren't making any money....maybe some contracts but god help the poor kid who signs up for the Army because he liked their video game. I think the developers and everyone are doing a wonderful job.I believe we'll see alot of nice things in the future "maybe a little later than expected" but still we'll see them especially when soldiers comes out. I'm sure they like to see what people want and they probably get good ideas from some but it's got to be a headache looking at all the stupid crap that's been suggested and shot down over and over and over and over again.Shutup I mean damn it's a free game(except maybe the 1/24th of a penny you paid in taxes that actually went into the making of this game :). It's simple....they don't owe anyone anything it's like making a commercial only way bigger and better.Kids today aren't doing anything but playing video games, they're just getting fatter and lazier so why not build something that appeals to todays youth.Brilliant jump on the Army's part. It's kind of funny tho' getting the lazy people to join the Army is easy....but watching them run 5 miles every morning is just plain hard to stomach. :)
I'm sorry this wasn't directed towards you bro Just some frustration that was building while reading this message board. And kinda' fell out while i was replying.
LMAO! Good points Untouchable Soldier! I agree!!:agreed:
I think when bots bacome a reality, they should consider having Roe carry on from match to match. The only way you can get your roe down is to play in a squad of bot's learning entry techs, etc. If u kill a bot in training there could be additional penalties. I think the game would rise to a different level if it made us learn how to work together. You could even teach them to report in more!! HAve the bots radio their positions and if you don't radio back within 10 secs you fail!!!!
