lol. Yes, I know about heat, I have been around computers for 13 years, plus have a degree in electronics and currently in college for a degree in networking.

I am planning on building a new comp, probably won't be till around November, but I am going to build a new one. Case wise, I'm going with the Thermaltake Xaser III, probably a P4 3.0 GHz with HT, 1GB DDR400 RAM, Western Digital Caviar SE120GB HDD, CD-RW and DVD, and maybe a GeForce FX5900 256MB. The case already has a 420 watt PS and comes with fan controls. I am also planning on adding about 3 or 4 fans to the case and possibly water cooling. Also planning on getting the IWILL P4SE Gold mobo. Already have wireless internet behind a cable modem. Just not sure whether to go with an ATA 100 HDD or a Serial ATA.

Also going to get The Orb to go on my CPU for cooling.

I'd rather recommend getting a Windows 2000 OS. More stable and secure than XP. All that shit people say about W2k not supporting games is bullshit, don't listen to it (XP is partially based on W2k anyway).

Crack_MiteIf OS's can only support up to 8GB or so of RAM, then why in the heck do they make mobos that can handle up to 36GB?

Because there are much better OS'es like UNIX, SOLARIS, etc that can support nearly unlimited amounts of RAM.

I have Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP Home and Pro and have never had any problems with XP. I have had problems with 2k Pro, had to reload my puter several times because of it too, and I had 2k Pro on it about 6 months. I have had XP on my puters for over a year now and have only needed to reload once, don't know what happened to cause it, but I've never had any problems with XP. Don't even have the lockup problems that I would commonly have with 2k Pro. I'm a XP fan.

lol. No, I've never heard of it. I've only heard of Longhorn.

Longhorn up the ass with all the crap the Bill Gates is trying to get done with this software piracy stuff.

Bill gates has a point though, but he loses near to nothing in software piracy. He's already the richest man in the world as it is, what more does he want?
