Does anybody know?
well i read some where $250,000 but I'm more than likly to be wrong. Also it depends on which version you want.
we are trying to forget that..so don`t ask
Don't worry. You can always win it back at Las Vegas.
Or by making a game that actuall makes a profit.
No, that one never seems to catch on (just look at Deus Ex, Thief, Thief II, System Shock 2, all of which are classics with a capital 'C')...
I just looked at a place that sells Lichtech Engines. It costed about 299,999.00. But this one was a really good engine. I forget the name of it, though...

There all Warren Spector games aren’t they
I have major respect for the whole Deus ex team (try modding it like I did)
Definitely Deus Ex. I have System Shock II. Usually games that emphasize on single player for the PC don't get enough responses from the public. A good example is The Longest Journey (for North America). Of course, there are exceptions (like Max Payne)
I'm just happy if Purge reaches that "special number" they need to get (depending on their publishing deal, I guess)
So long as there are people playing Purge (and that's more than the handful of NOLF regulars like myself) then presumably Purge could be said to be a success.
And if it's better than Counter-Strike...
