Mainly to Skaven, the 3DR or Remedy gang:

I don't know if I speak for everyone here, but who is the GENIUS who thought about the "You are in a graphic novel" and "You are in a computer game" strips, and the two following strips, the two phone calls?

That dialogue was absolutely BRILLIANT. I hated the dream and Valkyr levels, but I end up playing the Valkyr one many times because that was AMAZING. Repeating the sequence two times over. Absolutely Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now-like genius. Extraordinary.

Yes, that was a great moment - laughed my friggin' head off - especially at the moronic looking cartoon of Payne as a computer game character.

While the game certainly has it's technical flaws, the plot, writing, and voice acting were outstanding. It's been a while since I've gotten that involved in a game's story line.

I think the people who quickly dismiss the game aren't really immersing themselves in the plot.

These are the people who stop the comic book narration before it's finished just so they can get back to shooting. Pity, as they're missing out on a major part of the game.

I completely agree with that. People who haven't even played the game are telling me how bad it is.

The whole script, including all dialogue and monologue, was written by our scriptwriter Sam Lake.

Well I stand by what I said. That sequence was totally amazing. Going throught it twice, and a monologue, like the people in Dune! Superb!

Anza,

It's mainly because many native English speaking people have tremendous difficulty pronouncing "Sami Järvi". They'd go like "sam aye jar vee". Sam Lake is simple'n'easy for the people.

Call it an artist alias if you like.
