OK, I recently re-installed battlefield 1942 and FH 0.7 after re-installing windows.

I had this problem before I re-installed windows so that doesn't work but the problem is...

When ever an airplane flies over head or is flying within view and fires my computer slows down and my frame rate drops like a brick. (I'm talking 4-7 FPS from 40-50FPS)

I have all the right drivers. I have tried re-installing FH. I have (indirectly) tried formatting and re-installing windows. I have defragged my hard drive. I have downloaded all the latest motherboard/VIA chipset drivers.

This problem just won't go away...

What do I do?

Can't help you on this one buddy, the exact same thing happened to me while I got 0.7. All I can tell you right now is to reduce your sound settings, even though it won't kill the lag completely, it might very well help. (hell, from 0.67a to 0.7 I had to drop my graphical setting from everything on high to everything at lowest)

I tried recucing my graphics and sound all the way down. Like all the way down and it still lags with airplanes.

The wierd thing is that I can play BF2, BF2142 and normal BF1942 just fine with airplanes and with BF2 graphics maxed.

It's just FH the screws up... :Puzzled:
