I have just downloaded and installed FH2. I have 2 problems and hope someone could help me out. Firstly, I boot it up all looks good but on the multiplayer menu there are no servers to join? I went onto BF2 to check that all is well and have all the servers listed and can play with no probs. Have the latest BF2 patch and have updated PB for BF2. I tried it on single player and all went well, looks great by the way so well done to all involved. Secondly, on the BFHQ screen my stats from BF2 are there but there is a blank space where there would usually be an image of the soldier type? Should I be starting with a new identity? Also when i clicked to change the soldier type it crashed? I've had a good look around and can't find any help so if someone could take the time to post some ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

FH2 uses no BFHQ, as it's a shitload of work worth nothing. It adds nothing to FH2 since real ranking doesn't work. Also have you tried adjusting server settings? There certainly are servers. Try some different settings. The best is to leave all empty, including punkbuster activated. Try, then say if it works or not. If it's just settings then theres no problem. If it's not then a tech should post here.

Cheers for the quick reply. I cleared all the boxes and then hey presto loads of servers appeared!!! Thought that was the problem sorted but when i looked at them they are all BF2 maps, no FH2 maps at all? I clicked on a wake island map just to see what would happen and it instantly loaded BF2 and connected me to the server, weird? Thanks for your help i will scout around and try to find the answer, if i do sort it out I'll post and let you know. I hate it when people get they're problems solved and then just ignore the thread cos they got they're issue sorted! P.s - am downloading the project reality mod as we speak so you'll probably be seeing loads more posts from me this evening when that goes horribly wrong too!

Yes, when you load a Vanilla server it will switch over to Battlefield 2 vanilla. Though that might have ruined your install :uhoh: Try searching for specific maps with all options off. Try search for: El Alamein or Gazala or Sidi Rezegh or Invasion of Crete Should give some hits if not it's a different problem.

Yey! Sorted! You were right, just turned all options off and searched for maps individually. I think it was just me being a bit of a twat trying to get used to the slightly different format. Really enjoyed the different style of play and maps, it's cool. Next stop Project Reality mod!
