Anyone else have this problem? Every tank canvas on every map shows up as a 3D model instead of the finished product. Plus, sandbags are really messed up and look like Petrified Forest National Park. You can see an example by looking at the file I attached. (I'm a huge nub.) Any help will be greatly appreciated.

What settings are you running? Low?

Are you running the FH2.exe?

What are your computer's specs?

Nub question, how do you run fh2.exe? I tried typing it into Run and nothing.

There should be a FH2 shortcut on your desktop, if not use the FH2.exe in your BF2 root folder by double clicking it. FH2 is using custom shaders, so running FH2 via the ingame community tab messes things up. Also important is to shut down FH2 before playing vanilla or another mod, so the shaders get disabled. The weired looking 'canvas' is a camo net if it gets displayed right. ;)

also it is strongly recommended to create a bf2 account profile for FH2 so you wont mess up your precious vanilla or other mods, cause like this shader thing fh2 does some big changes to the bf2 game

Well, I figured out that I am running it from my desktop with the icon. So you're saying I just have to click on fh2.exe in my bf 2 root folder? 'Cus I did that and all it brought up was notepad with a bunch of computer instructions on it.

You got the 'show known file extentions' off, unfortunately this is a default windows setting. It does not display extentions like .exe .txt and so on. Also a know reason for ppl to execute malware when they see a file called name.txt while the real file is name.txt.exe and so the code gets installed instead of opening a text file. There is an option to turn that feature on but since i'm not using an english windows version i can't explain how to do it step by step.

The file you opened was fh.exe.log where the.log was not displayed and so the notepad opened. Find the file that is just called FH2 in your case, the real filename is FH2.exe but it gets not displayed to you.

Thanks! I got what you're saying, even if a little confusing. :) Anyway, I fixed it by uninstalling FH2 and BF2 and then reinstalling them both. The problem seems to be fixed as the camo netting and sandbags appear normally. Thanks for all your help guys. Mods can close the thread if they want now.
