Hi guys, this is a thread from a fan of FH2. It's a great game, congrats, but a bit more polishing is needed.

My hardware shows no problems when running other 3d applications (cs:source, Red orchestra, BF2, FH1 and so on) However this is the game i am so addicted to, yet so aggravated by. Often i get CTD for god knows the reason. Sometimes twice or three times in 10 minutes. In rare occasion it crashes and restarts the computer. And after that i am put into the allied team :( which is the biggest nightmare of all.

It might be my hardware problems, but again, any other game just doesn't do that. Had tried to reinstall everything to no avail.

Is that a normal occurrence? several other Hslan server players complained about that too. Will/was the stability be looked in patch 2.15?

Thanks and congratulations for a truly magnificent game

please put specs...

also: open your case, remove graphcard, clean graphcard fan, install newest driver.

Im sure CTD will stop if you do this.

FH2 has problems but 3 in 10 minutes is way to much. BF2 and its mods is very sensitive for memory errors and hardware errors, when i ran dual channel on my mobo i got ctd every 5 minutes, but when i run memory in single channel it dissapeared. Altough since you have bf2 working it probably isnt that.

Also with Windows Vista you can get more ctds than xp on same computer equipment, and notice only bf2 mods suffer from this problem under some computer specs with Vista.

To see your computer specs may be helpfull.

You should have a file called fh2-crash.uid in your battlefield 2 directory. It should contain a value looking something like ff345e60-7c5cf220-ec008400-d2428c00. Paste it here and I'll look at your specific crash dumps.
