Just make sure you shut them down properly. I also got both, no problems now. (oh and don't run Xfire together with Bf2 mods)

Is PR's gameplay really slow or something? I've been hearing alot about it being slow...

Haha, yeah, well. Not my first time playing.

PR is very different from FH2. But I like it.

FH2 is my game fo'sho but still, FH2 and PR fit each other perfectly if you ask me. FH2 is bit more arcade and PR as heavy as a brickhouse fillded witg overweight elephants :)

you might want to create a second game account for PR, so you can use different keyboard layout for different mods.

yeah and the book thing is a good idea ;)

well PR isnt slow, imo. it sometimes just lacks action. i dont play it very often so dont give too much on my statement here but often you run around for several minutes (seriously MINUTES) without anything to do then get to a flag to get shot by a sniper or whatever and then wait a minute to respawn and start over again. tanks often only respawn every 20 minutes , dont even think about getting into a plane without training several hours in offline games.

PR is a good mod, no doubt, i had several fierce figths and great teamwork in this mod, but in the end i allways come back to fh2 it has just more action, imo. realism is great and i like realistic armor values and weapons stats etc. but if you have to wait 60 seconds after getting into a chopper or a plane and only then you are able to get going imo something is wrong. to me stuff liek that are obstacles that hinder gameplay. tanks need at least 2 people to drive (driver/gunner) whichs is ok bt then they have to be in the same suqad and need to have the right kits etc. they got lots of vehicles and those contructable bunkers and shit are a nice feature.the game forces you to play together and sometimes i feel a bit pushed to hard.

but still PR features great teamplay and the team with less teamplay is doomed to loose.

I agree with Rawhide, PR is less arcade than FH2 (I feel FH2 a bit too fast for my taste), but it doesn't mean that PR is as slow as a MilSim. It's still a FPS and you can play it during only 2 hours, not a whole week. The thing is that you HAVE to stick together with your squad, at close range, and I mean you really have to. In FH2 it's better, in PR it's mandatory. But, with the BF2 map scale, the SL, the Rally Points... you don't have to travel so much, nor so often : you should have a real concern about not dying to achieve your goal. There is not so much random fragging (no frag points, no killchatmessages, no hit indicators, realistic ballistic values, no instant aiming), so you have way less chances to get uselessly fragged by an unskilled camping prick. So finally you don't spend so much time doing the same respawns/crossing the range, plus the action is permanently intense : walking, spotting, hiding is as much important as firing. The main goal is to hold the ground (like in FH2), but unlike FH2 to achieve it a patrol warfare is needed, and is a real important part of the mod, although FH2 is much based on direct firefights (it's the WWII meatgrinder). So people only wanting to instant shoot, run & gun, etc, would be disapointed with the PR type of gameplay, for sure.
