I got a PC game controller with analog joystick and viberation. I know BF42 and hnce FH has no viberation function, but I was trying to configure my controls to the controller and I couldn't get the controller to be independent of the mouse. In other words, I could use it to fire, strafe, move foward, crouch, jump etc and fly a plane pretty decently, but I couldn't turn around. I can't find anywhere in BF42's controller options a place to set mouse movement to joystick. How do I do this?

I used to have the hat switch on my Saitek Cyborg evo joystick set to mouse emulation, in the joystick profile editor. Mouse look freezes flight control though, so I soon ditched that and have external views on hat switch directions instead.

I think you are looking for the program JoyToKey? But as Max said, once you activate mouselook in a plane, you lose control of you movement while looking arround. Nothing can be done about this since the engine can't handle the commands at the same time...

So if I deactivate mouseLook in BF42 (Where is that option BTW?), I would be able to use the analog joystick on my controller for rotating around?

you might want to look at the actual options-->controls sections of the actual game. It really is NOT that hard to find o.o" Its located at "Air" tab as toggle mouselook.

but as I said to use the hat switch for this mouselook you have to use joy2key and bind the hat switch to mouse x and y axis...
