I don't think that anyone here is willing to satisfy you...

... dont seem to work with each other.

Has anyone found a solution by now? There must be others out there having the same problem, or am I the only poor person having to use Vista (which apart from the fact that FH is not running and 3d performance is lousy in games) is quite a nifty OS.

I would really appreciate any help!

i read of a solution for this somewhere else on the forum, at least 1 month ago. Just search for "Vista" or something like that.

thanks, wasseraller, but as I mentioned above i DID search the forums before posting.

the only "solution" seemt to run fh on admin and "win 98/me" compatibilty mode. nevertheless still problems arise and the game does not seem to run smooth.

anyone have experiences running fh42 on vista?? are you guys all still running xp??

come on, you even managed to get fh running on mac os X, vista should be easier, or not?

Try duel booting make a partition in your hard drive , and install XP to that drive. That way when your computer starts up you have a choice of running either xp or vista.

Windows Vista sucks huge performance out of games especially BF1942/BF2. So I take it Microsoft hate gamers and FH lovers
