Hi,

the last days, I have done a complete new-installation of my windows system, with sp3 and the latest catalyst drivers for my radeon X1600.

but now, i am not able to play the game anymore. with a solution of 1024*768, 16 bit and 100hz, with medium-details and shadows, lighning sources etc. OFF, i get (in a normal battle on a small map) below 10 FPS. this can't be - before my system update, i was able to play every map (even the big ones with 64 players) in this screen-resolution with HIGHdetails.

so... what can i do? i am not a big graca-expert, i have no idea what is the problem. beneath the x1600, i've got a P4 with 2.6 GHz and 1 GB memory.

The 100Hz might be a problem. Try running it at 60Hz!

hi,

so, it is not the screen-frequency, it is no difference between 120 Hz and 60 Hz (except that my eyes are burning *g*).

are you sure, that's the catalyst driver? so... what is the version of the driver i should install?
