"I find a way to fix it: replace shaders_client.zip in Battlefield 2\mods\bf2 with the one under the folder Battlefield 2\mods\fh2, it works properly in FH2, But first you have backup the original shaders_client.zip"

Worked for me, too! :bows: Christ, when I saw people uninstalling/reinstalling I burst into tears and opened veins.

overdriven;4347499There are several different ways. First delete all the shaders using the FH2 toolbox under 'tools' and 'delete logo cache' and 'delete graphics cache'. Then go to your bf2 folder and go to mods/bf2. In this folder there will be a zip file called 'shaders_client.zip'. Make a back up of this in your documents. Then go to mods/fh2 and copy the 'shaders_client.zip' located in this folder over to the mods/bf2 folder. It should over write the 'shaders_client.zip' located in the mods/bf2 folder and there you have it. Sorted. No uninstalling or anything needed. Thats for people who do it the long way.

Yesss! Finally got there :D

I was looking for files in 'my documents bf2' instead of the bf2 in 'programme files' doh!

Evrythings fine now, and I've tried Vanilla out and it hasn't affected that at all!

Thanks for the help guys, and here's to some enjoyable FH2 !

LOL. Me too. It was getting out of hand. I was expecting people to start suggesting a fresh install of Windows next!

GrossKopf;4346833AHHHHHH! I'm just saying that zooming in and having the blur is awesome. It's like in COD 4 and it's the only mod that has it, so it's the best! :)

Im just joking. Dont take it seriously, hehe. The mods wont listen anyway. :naughty: My entire clan got on the COD4 trip, and I seem to be the only semi sane member left there, so I have a "thing" with that game.

I had this, playing on Vista Ultimate. When I first installed I ran the shortcut and got a series of path not found errors. I launched BF2 and started the mod from within the game. Hey presto, grey wobbly iron sights. After setting the FH2 exe to XP compatibility mode, ran as admin and disabling desktop for a few extra frames the game launches with the proper shortcut, and the iron sights work as they should. Hope this helps someone.

You do realize that by doing this only FH2 will work on your BF2 untill you put the old shaders back? would there be any change that a little repair patch would be released so that we wouldn't have to modify out Battlefields so that it can only run Forgotten hope 2?

It's good but it's not THAT good.
