So I have a new problem with FH2 unfortunatly. I seem to be having memory dumps while loading maps. This hapens when i'm playing online. So If i log onto the server for the first time I have no problems loading and i can play the game fine. When the server rotates to the next map however is when i experience the dump. the map laods to about 50 percent and then i get a memory dump error. Any ideas on how to fix it.
Hmmm how much RAM do you have and what OS? (Edit: it was Vista you were using and 2GB RAM? I think thats what you said in another thread) Have you tested your memory lately? BF2 is a very very Memory whoring game and if one bar is faulty it will show.
Well I have a new computer now that West Point gave me. It's got 3.5 Gigs of Ram so I'm a bit confused as to why it's happeneing. I mean I can play BF2 and Point of Existence fine but FH2 for whatever reason.
fh2 needs a "little" more ram than bf2 due to the better quality of models & textures etc.

I mean I have 3.5 gigs running on a windows XP operating system. I find it hard to believe that that isn't enough memory to run FH2. That's almost triple what it takes to run BF2 at an optimal level. Additionally when I first installed the mod it ran fine. No memory dump problems. It ran flawlessly from map to map to map while playing online, even when playing with upwards of 60 people. But as of like 5 days ago it started to crash. I don't quite know what caused this problem, I don't Think i've done any thing significant to change my computer. So do you have any ideas on what might be causing this? Help is mutch appreciated.
Can you run BF2 in a window and copy the full error message from the dialog ? That might help.
well if you havent chnaged anything in your system or software and there was no bf2 or fh2 update that leaves only our friend punkbuster ;)
have you tried playing local/single player games ? do they crash as well
and yes 3.5 GB ram should be more than enough(unless on of you RAM is broken, test them!), somehow i missed that post ;)
