Hello,

I am trying to run a dedicated server and it works but for one major thing, nowone else can connect but me.

I know i need to open 'ports' in my firewall (not windows firewall) and in my router but i have no idea where to start or how to do it at all.

Any help would be much apreciated on how to go about doing this.

It's really, really annoying (not so much the ports as half the time bf still decides not to work). *sighs* However, I'll try to help with the ports at least :P First, I need to know what kind of router you have, though.

Go to this site: http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm It has a huge lists of modems and routers and a description with each of them on how to forward ports.

After you opened your port go to http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and check if the port you opened works.
