I never had this problem before but I guessed that some of you might know whats causing it and or how to fix it.

Im joining up the game (I have pb updates and stuff), im their for about 30 seconds then I get kicked with a message saying "No package overflow" or something like that. I tried turning off my firewalls but still nothing.

Okay it says "No Packet Flow" if that helps anyone to determine the problem

when your ingame, look at the gray writing next to (or inside of-I forgot) the chat. If it says something about client not upgraded or whatever and continues to display messages, you may have to go to the Punkbuster site, and download pb.web for bf1942. run it inside the punkbuster folder and itll update it. I remeber i had a problem where I kept getting kicked because i had an old version and my firewall had blocked the autoupdate that usually worked.

hope this helps...

hmmm "no packet flow" is a message pertaining to your internet connection to the server. PB will kick bad connections. i would make sure your isp is working properly, and all background operations and programs are turned off. also make sure your clean of spyware etc.

When playing we (my buds) usually turn off all Mcafee (insert your virus suite here) programs that are running. start/programs/administrative tools/services. Right click on service and click stop. Then go to task manager, click on processes and then click the "username" header. "end" every process that you see running with the user name that YOU log in with. DO NOT END the following processes, explorer.exe or taskmanger.exe as well as anything that you use for playing FH. i.e. fraps or teamspeak or whatever you use. DONT "end" anything that has the username of "system" or "network service" or "local service". What this does: ends all firewall, antivirus, and unecessary backgound services (qtime anyone?) and gives you lots more system resources for playing the game, if you benchmark, you will see better fps as well!!!. DONT SURF FOR PORN AFTER THIS YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!! To get your pc back the way it was, just reboot. hopefully you can get the pb updates through as well.

the problem is clearly an internet connection problem between him and this particular server. it could be from either end too, could be the servers isp is having problems. is this on every server you try, or just one?

it hopefully is only a temporary problem anyway.
