Sorry for not scanning the earlier threads to see if there has been a similiar problem, but I have a limited time on this computer(Im not at home) and I would just like a quick and hopefully simple answer. Ok, I have FH installed, all the parts etc etc, and all the maps load fine, except Prohorovka. Here is what happens specifically. When I click on an online game and the map is Prohorovka, it starts out like all the others, the preload screen, and then the problem starts. The load screen( the one with the progress bar at the bottom with the bullets) has no background, no cool little collage to get me excited about the map or anything. A plain gray screen. Well, when this first happened I figured some file for that background messed up or something, and since the progress bar was progressing, I figured I'd just keep waiting. Well I wait till it finishes loading, and then the game shuts down, plain and simple. FH shuts down and takes me straight back to windows. I have that FHx upgrade, but this was happening before that, so Im sure thats not what is causing it. I also reinstalled the map part of the download(part 2), and still it happens. Any help is appreciated. Kevin

Lot of people have problems with various maps crashing. What can I say, I haven't had any problems like that except the game crashing while playing. Your best bet is to remove the mod folder and reinstall everything. I guess if your unlucky your install files could be bad also.

Thanks for the insight, I didn't know the map problems were so common. I probably won't reinstall again, Ive already tried that, and I guess as long as its only one map I'll be alright. Ive heard the Prohorovka map isn't that great anyway. I would like to at least see it though.

What kind of computor do you have? Prokhorovka is one of the most demanding maps in FH, does Battle of Orel run fine?

Well, I dont have that good of a computer, but all other maps run fine. Orel runs perfect, and Atlantic too(with a little lag, but thats to be expected on that map). The only other map I've ever had a problem with is Breakthrough. It did the same thing that the Prohorovka map did, but only once. I played it today, and everything was fine, killed the guys trying to steal the King Tiger, punched hole in those Cromwells and was very wary of that Typhoon. What exactly is the Prohorovka map? I know thats where the main part of the Battle of Kursk took place, so is that what it is? A map with lots of wheat fields and tanks. It sounds cool, but what I've heard is that it isnt too good. Like I said though, only one map, not worth the time and effort tracking down this problem and fixing it. I guess the raging battles of Prohorovka will have to go on without the veteran Oberst Wake(my sn). But you'll be sure to see me fausting away on the Breakthrough map(that bridge is a keen place to hide), and in the rampaging Brummbar on Alpenfestung and BotB. See ya around! Kevin
