My Battlefield 1942 is always being set in a strange resolution when it come to the menu that make some letters are almost invisible. The worst thing is the sights in the tanks in Forgotten Hope, they are fat and lagging:(. No problems with BF2 for example. If someone know this problem or maybe know how to solve it please answer:)

Your graphics quality has to be set to high in order to fix the tank sights. And perhaps this will also fix your menu res prob, I'm not sure...
Hi my finnish friend. Make sure your monitor can support the resolution, otherwise it will stretch your tank sights and just make everything ugly.
I forgot to say that it worked earlier. Where should I change the graphics? BF1942? Graphic-card?
Change the graphics in the options for 1942.
Anyone else have a idea about how to solve this? I have tried reinstall whole BF1942 and removed the map before intalling again and Switching Video-options. heelp!
can you tell us what resolution you play at ? and sort of screen do you have , a CRT or a TFT ( LCD ) ? if so could you give us the type .
Screen: Acer AL-1730m CrystalBrite 8ms "flatscreen" (TFT?) Screen settings: 1280 x 1024 BF1942 resolutin settings: 1024 x 768 x 60
Turn up your BF42 settings. That's where your problems are arising and why it looks so ugly/pixelated. I can get up to 1280X960 with my 1680X1050 resolution monitor so you can set yours up to at least that. Then only vertical pixels of your CRT/flat screen will be stretching an image though it won't be as extreme as stretching 768 over 1024; It'll only be, of course, 960 over 1024 which won't look as ugly. Tell me if it works.
