This has happen a few times. I'm playing and all is fine when all a sudden my sound goes out. Here are some clues that might find the problem. 1- once i quit the game and reloaded with an other server and all was well 2- once i was on ventrilo and that when out too, i had to rebot (didn't try other server). 3- just today it happen again and i was on teamspeak . The funny thing is that team speak was ok, just the game sound wasn't working so i try to quit the server to rejoin the same server and that still didn't work so I had to rebot again.(didn't try other server). Little note hear, when this usually happens i test the sound with kaza, and i can listen to music. Any thoughts ????????

Check if your Soundcard, or onboard Sound drivers are up to date, judging from what you say ( and seeing that you said it also happend when you were on Ventrillo ) this problem isn't caused by FH alone.

Thanks for your reply Polska

It only happened once on ventrilo , and that was because i was playing and it went out during ingame. I do think it has to do with FH or BF42 cause it only happens when i'm playing FH.

I'm not sure how to check for my drivers ( sry for being a noob !! ). I went to control panel->systems->device manager-> Creative sb audigy-> and then it said "driver version : not found", so i then clicked on "driver detail" and this is what it gave me " driver version : 80.0.0.3

Is this right?

Thanks

I suggest going to http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/softwareupdate.asp?nSUFlag=1&sDestUrl=http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/&hdAllProduct=1&LangID=1033&hdDspLangID=1033 and downloading auto-update or you could go to support and download the latest drivers for your SB Audigy as well.
