Ok Guys, I'm working on an FH server and having problems. For whatever reason, I cannot connect to the server for gameplay. The map loads until almost the very end and then I get "bf1942 has encountered an error" message and then crash. I know all about the port forwarding, and the DMZ, and everything is patched correctly. What I've done is to start completely over. I uninstalled BF1942, FH, all maps, and patches, then defragged the hard-disk. I'm ready to start over. I have all necessary files as well as BFSM from blackbag ops. My question pertains to the correct installation order/instructions for all of the files. First, BFSM says I do not need to install BF1942 to run the server, which seems kind of odd to me but I'll take that as a fact. I will install FH, then bf1942 server, then bfsm. My question is which to install first, and where to install the files. Should I install bf1942 server then install FH? How do I get the map list into bf1942 server? Should there be a FH directory in bf1942 server? I have tried resources across the internet trying to track down configuration for FH but can find nothing, other than for vanilla bf1942. I have ran a server before, prior to FH .67 release so I know it works but for whatever reason I cannot get it to work now. Of course, I've disabled XP firewall and my virus programs but nothing works. I don't see a forum for server configs on this board but if there is one just point it out and I'll be happy to take it from there. Any help is greatly appreciated!

well.. bf1942 goes in first, then the fh folder goes: /bf1942rootdir/mods/fh/ the server install should be exacly like the client install, with our without the texturefiles(if you realy need the space..) So: 1. Install bf1942 server/client 2. patch it. 3 install fh server/client files in to mods/fh/ 4. superhax your bfsm. 5 be happy

THx Mackan, but I don't have an FH server install. Perhaps that's what I'm missing? Just bf1942 server file is the only one I can find; haven't found a server install for FH.
