I got my new 22" TFT Display yesterday.
BF²/FH² is fine as it is, even though the bottom and top of the screen are cut out a little.
Trouble is, whenever is start FH (for BF42) it runs stretched all over the screen and everything looks wide and fat, especially the vehicles. There is no way to use widescreen with that engine afaik, but if i remember correctly you should be able to run it with 1280 x 1024 like on a 19" display and have black sides to the left and right.
Anybody got a clue ?

Check my reply on the "other" forums, not sure if it's of any help, but still...

I play BF2 with 1280X1024 on my LG20.1incer and it's not that bad. However, there are some hacks, I think, on http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page , but they most likely are picked up by punkbuster since you're cheating/seeing too much of the battlefield(oh noes, say it isn't so!).
Um... 1280 x 1024 isnt exactly what people call widescreen. I´m not looking for a way to play BF2 on full Widescreen, i want to play FH (for BF42) on a 22 " Display with 1680 x 150 resolution without the streching.
Then I presume the other thread I linked you to didn't contain any useful information either? I'm sorry, but as I'm doing my homework for some hours now I didn't had the time to verify its contents.

I know that my friend runs FH at 1200x900 (or 960, I don't remember). Regardless, it's a widescreen Res. I helped him set it up but I don't honestly remember how we did it.
