A question to anyone who could help, how do you add custom objects to your map e.g. new buildings for example from road to rome, i have already got them working in ed 42 but i cant get them to show in game, have worked at this for hours today and thought id just ask. iknow you have to make a objects file, standardmesh etc i think but could someone make a brief walkthrough of the process, i looked through the faq/tutorials page but found nothing there and so thought id ask. help would be appreciated

Oh but in the FAQ is told how to setup your files: the turorial "Simple Object Modeling Tutorial" conatins the following line near the bottom (after the tutorial explaine dhow to export your model to a .sm file)

Click that link and you will get a step by step tutorial on how to set up your files for custom models.

or just use this template I made (some things aren't necessary, depends on the object you want in your map, ie you probably just need the geometries.con, objects.con and the customobject.con in the CustomObject folder if you are using a RTR building) (read the files for instructions, use a notepad) bis.midco.net/mrdilavar/Public/Objects.rar if you change the name of the folder, make sure you change the directory in the Objects.con outside of the customobject folder
