I am looking for a custom map of a big european city, preferably the battle of Aachen, but any city will do as I have not found more than one Aachen map which is not in FH anyway. I have searched and searched alot but found very few city maps. It is like almost all mappers do small towns and countryside combinations? Does any readers here know about some city maps which are not already in FH distribution.

The map will be a candidate to play in the for the Forgotten Honor Ardennes-1944 camapign, which is ongoing.

PS: If it is Aachen I would be delighted. We base our campaign PPS: I know there is a few WIP projects areound this forum but I presume they are untouchable, so let's have other maps...

Funny enough, there arn´t any really big city maps, like DCs Urabn Siege. It just occured to me that that is a point FH could use a lot more attention.

Although it is not hard to understand why so few mappers step up to the challenge. The collision physics are not very good in BF1942 engine. For example, it is very hard to lay down on a rubble pile :( Rubble piles are quite important in big bombed cities. Thankfully thsi problem was more or less solved with the BF:V engine so that large buidlings are now much more possible. And then, when BF2 comes.... *snap back to reality * but I need the map available very soon, so the question is still: anyone seen a good big city map? Preferably a European based battle.

it's better to make rubble piles with the terrain landscaping + texturing rather than with those objects. Easier on the FPS as well. Looks better, plays better.
