I'm a newbe at this, so stupid questions are bound to happen...but here goes: I want to change a regular map to CTF (in this case Berlin). Ive looked at the FH rfa's and the regular BF rfa's. I see the has an addition: ctf.con which links to the CTF map with the instructions and creating two flag poles. As far as I could see the CTF related files are modular and only pointing to parts of the BF1942 programm. So it shouldn't be too difficult to adjust a map. This made me wonder: Why hasn't been done before, as anyone interested in making a map would start adjusting (minor ways) it. So I have the following questions: 1) Does the FH Mod supports CTF gametype? 2) Am I on the right path and is it only adjusting the map or is there more involved? In any case: Is it possible and how do I start?

We have developed a CTF mod for FH... visit our site and you can download it... more maps will be added in the next update, including maps from MAPPACK#6, but there is enough fun maps in our mod to keep ypou busy a while, we use it regularly in our community and you are free to also use it as you wish. cheers!

Thanks m8! I'll download it right away and make it available to the others. Is it difficult to prepare a map for this mod?

Use ED, and just set a flag as a CTF type flag, I think. Natty=Win.

We made a new Flag Object that needs to be run from the map, it is in the mod i think as well, but we put it also in each map, to be sure.. dont ask why.. also make sure the Ctf.con file is correct, I suggest copy one from a working map in the mod, then change the position of the flags etc...
