I'm making a fictional map for fh2. Its almost finished (only groundtexture, undergrowth etc). The battle takes place on a small mediterranean island with the british invading the island. Because the map is like sfakia, i want to change the uniforms of the germans How can i do that? Looks very nice, keep it up. Especialy the towns and the undegrowth seem carefully placed and choosen.

Yeah, that looks great! It'll look even better when it's lightmapped too... Could you post a pic of the minimap/flaglayout please? Here's how to get the Gebirgsjaeger uniforms: 1. open your map's init.con 2. in the section where you see "gameLogic.setKit... blahblah" you need to set the German player models to "gm_heavy_soldier" and the German kits to any of the following: GM_ATPzB39 - AT kit with PzB 39 AT rifle GM_EngineerK98Short - engineer kit with reduced ammo GM_ScoutK98Short - scout kit with reduced ammo GM_Limited_Assault_MP40_K98 - limited MP40 assault kit GM_RiflemanK98 - basic rifleman kit GM_Limited_Support_MG34_K98 - limited MG34 support kit GM_NCOMP40 - officer kit For example, here is that section of the Sfakia init.con: gameLogic.setKit 1 0 "GM_ScoutK98Short" "gm_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 2 0 "BA_ScoutNo4Short" "ba_light_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 1 1 "GM_Limited_Assault_MP40_K98" "gm_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 2 1 "BA_Limited_Assault_TommygunD_No4" "ba_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 1 2 "GM_RiflemanK98" "gm_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 2 2 "BA_RiflemanNo4" "ba_light_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 1 3 "GM_Limited_Support_MG34_K98" "gm_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 2 3 "BA_Limited_Support_Bren_No4" "ba_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 1 4 "GM_EngineerK98Short" "gm_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 2 4 "BA_EngineerNo4Short" "ba_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 1 5 "GM_ATPzB39" "gm_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 2 5 "BA_ATBoys" "ba_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 1 6 "GM_NCOMP40" "gm_heavy_soldier" gameLogic.setKit 2 6 "BA_NCOTommygunS" "ba_nco_soldier" (GM = German Mountain, GA = German Africa and BA = British Africa) I'm not sure, but I think you will need a mapdata.py file in your map's main folder to make it playable with the limited kits. This file sets the numbers of each limited kit which will be available to players. You should be able to just copy the mapdata.py from Sfakia for it to work fine, or you could just not use the limited kits for now. I look forward to seeing progress on this. Keep it up! :)

No idea, but it's used in Mersa Matruh (F2 on map coordinates), so you can check it there.

If you have activated your surrounding terrainpatches, the water wont be visible in the editor but ingame it will.
