Well guys, I'm almost finishing this map It represents the attack of Bardia made by the Australians in the early morning of January 3rd, 1941. The city was held by the Italians. After 3 days of battle, the Aussies took the town and moved to capture Tobruk. As you can see, it's pretty small, basically an infatry map, plus a tank for the attackers. The map is small because I just wanted to practice and learn more about the Editor, so decided not making a gigantic one since this could offer all I needed. Actually, I've edited tons of BF2 maps before for tournaments, but this is my first own map. As a test map, I didn't care too much about sorrounding terrain and other small stuff. Also you all may notice that obviously it features only BF2 objects, vehicles, weapons and armies, so it's only a FH2 wannabe :D . I'll post ingame screens later. I hope you enjoy it, as soon as I get it done, I'll post the link here. Feedback please!
Yeah, some screenshots would be great. It's looking pretty good from the minimap though :)
Thanks Cheese I got problems when I was trying to take the pics since w, a, s, d keys wasn't working in freecam (don't ask me why) So later today I'll try again
Yeah, I agree, minimap alone looks great so I hope to see some ingme screens... doesen't care if they have wrong weapons etc. or taken with freecam :)
As said abouve, minimap presents itself nice.:)
Will BF1942 maps be ported over to BF2 without changes? maps lke tobruk, wake, and midway I really like :nodding:
What you have to show so far does really look nice. Funny thing is that I was looking for a map that I could do and Bardia was wwhat I decided to do. I had no clue what was going on in africa and somehow found the battle pretty interesting , even though it was quite easy for allies. But I dropped that projetct because we won't get italians in the first release and somehow lost interest to do african maps at all. But keep on going , show us some screens and keep some space for FH statics.
Nice work dude! This map with FH2 statics and equipaments will be very fun :D
Some screens (forget about the fog, I'll fix it later)
