Here's a list of the most-used statics, and a few extra things like the wrecks, and their poly counts. Now you can know if you're lagging up a map with high poly objects. Not included are most vegetations. Highest on the list is the church at over 4000. Most useless polygons go to the stove_eu at 466, the eu_carts, at 490 for two wheels and 844 with four wheels, and the OAK TREE with over 2000! Alot of those wrecks seem needlessly high as well. The M2 versions of some models have lower polygon counts, but appear to be the same models. I'm not sure what these are used for. They aren't Levels of Detail, because every model file already includes LoD models.

The main thing that is heavy on the CPU is the collision models.

So I don't think there's even a point in lowering the polycount of the stove from 466 to like 150.

Polys are polys. This list is kind of a warning, so you can sort out which statics have high poly counts. Each static is rendered in BF.. the more polys, the bigger the CPU load. Seems pretty simple to me. Thanks for the list, Nails.

Wow, this is a pretty useful list, thanks! Do you have a version in word (a table)? That way you can sort this lost on name or poly count by the click of a mouse button. But this list is very useful already! thanks!

I meant that it sometimes could be useful so sort objects on polycount (low to high or visa versa) instead of object name. But we easily can do witout such an "option"/ "list".

I prefer to have the names at hand (like on my desktop) in a small file, all finely ordened, so I won't have to go to Gaming forums each time and have to apply the search function on the whole webpage. :P I guess it don't really matter to sort them on size, since you'll probably look for the static name only anyway.

I don't have Microsoft Excel handy, otherwise I could make a table. I just copied this off in Wordpad and saved it as a text file, as Rudolf has done.
