wait if i understand you, you want to convert multiplayer maps to singleplayer? that is quite hard especially if you dont no how to map. for starters try this website Battlefield SinglePlayer - Website

Basically someone must "program" that gaming mode, it can take anything from a week to 3 months, for one map.

Im hoping hoping someone do it (russian!russian!russian!), because Ive seen lots of requests for Singleplayer for this mod, please have patience and keep the mod, maybe a patch for singleplayer will come! :)

Yes it could be nice. I think multiplayer is great, but sometimes you have no populated server, or simply want to practice the map many times.

I play also BF2 Project Reality, which is wonderful when you find a good teamworking squad with VOIP, but sometimes I have no time for an entire round (and don't want to leave a friendly squad simply quitting when I want) or I can't speak (maybe it's late at night). PR Single Player has been the only way to learn how to distinguish enemies from friends, to practice flying and avoid teamkilling.

Dunno if you got my message Natty but I've been pissing around with adding Coop to some FHTMod maps, and I've been getting lots of errors from objects with non-existent or duplicate AI that crashes the map in anything but Debug mode. I can send you the map I've been using for testing so you can debug it and know exactly what's causing the problem...

There are probably five hundred objects in fhtmod without AI files... they need to be created or copied from where they came from, bfv, eod, bf1918 or wherver thy came from..

Basically adding AI to this mod will be alot of work, I know that, but as you know we couldnt possibly take that into consideration when we made this mod, so I deliberately (?) deleted AI files from many many objects.

But :: since you know the origins of some of these maps, I guess you can use some files from them? (Sittang bridge, Strasbourg etc) but all pathmaps must be tweaked ofcourse and strategy written... + all new vehicles need AI files and ofcourse all the new statics.. I know too little about AI to really give any good ideas also... maybe team up with the guys at battlefield singleplayer? Dnamro and them...

Dude, if you release a patch, you should make AI files for those objects to make life easier for people making SP maps. It only takes less than 30 seconds per object.

Yea... was talking to RussianComrade about this... Problem is there is around 1500 objects... only 54 of them currently have AI files... None of the kits have AI, i dunno if they need that.. there are 300 kits.. vehicles looks like most of them has it, a few are missing though, all those we made ourselves we never bothered to make for. I hope someone does this though..

I'm one of the ones who would love SP out the yingyang. So what's 12 solid hours, give or take a few minutes? Give up sleeping on, say, a Saturday night (and everything else down to and including eating, drinking and evacuating bladder and bowel) and it's a done deal. ;)
